Child Care Employee Lounge Design

The ones taking care of children also need a place to take care of themselves. The aim of this project was to give the employees of a day care center an area where they could relax and rejuvenate away from the stimulation multiple toddlers can induce. Through the use of soft materials, comfortable nap-able seating, and motorized shades the employee lounge was redesigned to promote rest and revival to tackle the rest of the day. The kitchenette was separated from the lounge area, and the overall use of cool grays where energized by hints of orange.
